Product Durability

Our product design approach prioritizes quality, reliability and repairability, ensuring efficiency and maximizing sustainability throughout the product lifespan. By developing accelerated lifespan and forced failure product testing, we are able to anticipate issues and design appropriate solutions. We craft our products for enduring quality and support consumers with warranty programs and component accessibility.

Repairability/Serviceability

Repairability and serviceability are key components of our commitment to circularity. Our goal is to extend the useful life of products by making them easy to fix. By ensuring components are accessible and easy to disassemble, we support both professional and consumer repairs. We provide spare parts for major appliances and for most small appliances for at least seven years in the North America region and 10 years in Europe and the Latin America Region.

We’re working to make documentation, tools, diagnostics, service parts and firmware more accessible to anyone wishing to repair and lengthen the lifespan of their products, adding to our existing library of repair manuals. In Europe, the KitchenAid brand relies on its commitment to maintenance and repairs, guaranteeing long-term small-appliances support.
